Introduction
We welcome you!
You are entering into an agreement with us, Docamí, S.A.P.I. de C.V. (“Docamí”, “we”, or "us"), creators and operators of the Docamí® Virtual Receptionists ("Receptionists") and the website docami.mx ("Website"). Our addresses for receiving notifications are: hola@docami.mx, and General Juan Cano 87, Colonia San Miguel Chapultepec, Alcaldía Miguel Hidalgo, Código Postal 11850, Ciudad de México, México.
This agreement describes the terms under which you can use the Receptionists, our Website, and all associated content and functionalities (collectively referred to as "Services"). You can use our Services either as an individual user or on behalf of another person, such as being their parent, guardian, or custodian.
By using the Services, you accept these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, available at docami.mx/privacidad. If you use the Services on behalf of another person, you accept these terms for them.
Our Services
At Docamí, we develop Virtual Physician's Receptionists to facilitate and streamline communication between doctors and their patients via WhatsApp.
When your doctor provides you with the number of their Receptionist, you can chat with it to receive various services:
- Patient Clinical History Integration: Collection of your symptoms and medical history to document your case in detail.
- Delivery of the Personalized Medical Management Plan: Information provided by your doctor based on your clinical history, such as prescriptions for the medications you need to take, diagnosis, recommendations for your recovery, orders for tests, and instructions on what to do in case of an emergency.
- Support: Continuous support and follow-up during your recovery based on the plan created by your doctor.
Your doctor provides access to their Receptionist at no cost to you. Although doctors registered with Docamí use our Receptionists, they remain independent professionals and not our employees. Any payment you make through a link provided by a Receptionist will be for your doctor's fees and not for the use of our Services.
If you have a medical emergency, please seek immediate help!
Your doctor's response time may vary, and this medium may not be the most suitable in emergency situations.
Your Receptionist can communicate with you in Spanish, English, and other languages according to your preference. However, messages from the doctor will always be delivered in Spanish. The Receptionist may provide you with a translation along with the original Spanish message. These translations are for support purposes only, and their use is the sole responsibility of the patient or their caregiver. Neither the doctor nor Docamí is responsible for any errors in translation or interpretation. Official medical documents, such as prescriptions, test orders, and medical notes, will only be issued in Spanish to ensure their acceptance at pharmacies, hospitals, and laboratories in Mexico.
Eligibility
We provide the Services only to individuals over 18 years old who are located in Mexico. By using our Services, you confirm that you meet these criteria. The Services are not designed to attract individuals under 18 years old. However, doctors using Docamí will not deny care to minors. For patients under 12 years old, doctors will strictly require the presence of a parent or guardian.
Access to the Services may not be legal for certain individuals or in certain countries. If you access the Services from outside Mexico, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with local laws.
If you do not agree with these Terms of Use or our data practices described in our Privacy Policy, please refrain from accessing our Website or using our Services.
Health Information Notice
Our Receptionists are designed to facilitate communication between patients and doctors. They do not provide medical diagnoses or treatments. Any medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or recommendation you receive through a Receptionists comes directly from your doctor and their corresponding plan. The medical relationship and care you receive are directly between you and your doctor.
While Docamí facilitates this communication, we do not offer medical services ourselves and are not responsible for any advice received from your doctor through our Services.
Changes to Terms and Services
